Creating, Reading, Website
This month I am trying to use up my scraps, fat quarters, fabrics I have on hand to create all my goodies. Though it is more time consuming, using my scraps to their fullest potential has been fun. Quilting the two sewing cases I’ve made so far this month is challenging me to bring more quilting into my creations.
The more I play the more fun my sewing cases become (at least I think so!).
I've also been working with a new sewing machine and it can do some fun things so I’m using them to help make some fun fabric tape to use when packaging things to ship out to customers. I think it just adds something a little special.
I’m also working on this website to pull myself away from Etsy. I love the customers I’ve gained from Etsy but I don’t love how much money I’m losing to Etsy. Too many fees and I don’t want to drive up my prices just to make up the difference.
While I’ve been busy creating and moving everything to this site, I’ve also been reading. I love a good audio book while I work!
Things I’ve read this month and last and what I rated them:
Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn - 5 stars
Half His Age by Jenette McCurdy - 3.5 stars
Dragon Cursed by Elise Kova - 4 stars
This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar - 5 stars (more if I’m being honest, I LOVED this)
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard - 5 stars
The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman - 4 stars
and I’m currently reading The Night Prince by Lauren Palphreyman and it’ll likely be 5 stars .. I’m having to much fun reading it!
